There are lots of great, spring break destinations around the Americas to pick from for your spring break excursion. With so many areas to visit around the world you can select from many options for different spring break destinations. But remember that they can be really crowded throughout the seasons, but the way that these spring break destinations run during the season these places can be unforgettable. That’s what makes them so much fun.

Here’s some popular spring break destinations inside the USA. Florida is the most visited state for spring break fun. Panama City Beach has a lot of the finest and partying beaches that you can find. South Beach Miami features some of the most fun destinations for parties in the world. Plus, Orlando features many nice parks and other attractions. Lake Havasu in Arizona is also popular on the left coast.

Mexico is also one of the most popular spring break destinations there is. Cabo San Lucas is also popular. Located at the tip of the Baja Peninsula, also called Los Cabos has become one of the most spring break destinations in that it has great weather conditions most of the time and features other great outdoor activities.

Without a doubt, Cancun is the best of all spring break destinations South of the border. It is off the Yucatan Peninsula, Cancun has some of the hottest clubs anywhere. There are many outdoor activities to do, like surfing, cruises and jet skiing. Plus, there are many historical sites to visit around the area. But the wild nightlife spots are without a doubt the greatest thing about Cancun.

Jamaica is an especially popular spot for vacation. The town of Jamaica City is one of the greatest spring break places in the country. It features beautiful jungles and playas.

The 5.2 million tourists that visit Australia each year go there because they know they can get everything they want from one destination, such as a rich culture, delectable food, world-famous Australian wine, wildlife, natural wonders, hot beaches, unique experiences and great shopping. Americans have been fascinated with Australia for decades. When we think of Australians, we picture Crocodile Dundee or the Crocodile Hunter. When we think of Australian culture, perhaps we think of a boomerang, a didgeridoo, an Indiana Jones hat, a vegemite sandwich, a surfer or a sand boarder. When we think of the Australian continent, we may picture the Australian outback with kangaroos and koalas, or a stretch of beach where platypus, humpback whales and great white sharks play. No matter what your image of Australia may be, it’s a world-class destination with a whole host of wonders!

Australia is a fantastic romantic getaway if you both love the great outdoors! It is one of twelve “megadiverse” countries that accounts for 75% of the world’s biodiversity, says the Department of Environment and Climate Change. The existence of Australian animals on the island fascinates biologists, who attribute the tremendous biodiversity to being allowed to proliferate without human interference for so many years. Remember, Australia wasn’t even officially declared a country until 1901. It’s not every day that you can see 45 species of kangaroo hopping through the brush, an enormous emu running with its gangly ostrich-like legs, or hear a laughing kookaburra in the tree. Some animals can only be found down under. The Tasmanian devil, for instance, is only found in Australia. To Australian guides, it may be nothing to see a playful platypus, 100 varieties of poisonous snakes, 56 species of parrots, a koala or a wild dingo, but travelers are always somewhat bewildered by the sudden emergence of animals they had only previously seen on TV or at the zoo. Thirdly, at Monkey Mia you’ll have the chance to feed wild dolphins in Shark Bay, a protected World Heritage area. Also, Queensland’s Daintree Rainforest (the oldest in the world) is home to 30% of the nation’s frog, marsupial and reptile species, 65% of the bat and butterfly species, and 20% of the country’s birds. These are just a few of the natural wonders you will be privy to on an Australian vacation. Australia also boasts some of the best hiking, road trips and a “Little Sahara” desert region.

Visit Australia for a good road trip. Don’t miss the Stuart Highway road trip of Australia, as it has virtually no speed limit like Germany’s Autobahn, the landscape is miles and miles of desolate sandy red earth, nostalgic artifacts litter your journey and you may even see flying fox bats squabbling in the trees at the Mataranka Thermal Springs stop-off. Another fantastic adventure is the Great Ocean Road drive from Melbourne to Port Phillip Bay, Bell’s Beach, Torquay, Airey’s Inlet, Apollo Bay, Otway Fly and Loch Ard Gorge. You’ll see surfboard, kangaroos and rainforest gullies along the way to make your trip memorable. A third road trip you may want to take is the remote South Australia quadrant, from Perth to Bunbury and Yallingup through the Margaret River Wine Region. Gothic cathedrals and behemoth trees, organic food and beach towns all meet you on your voyage, and don’t forget the Australian wine tours! While driving isn’t much of a vacation for some, the drives you’ll take around the coastal regions of Australia are transcendental.

Great Yarmouth Vacations: What To Do When You Visit in Great Yarmouth

The coastal town of Great Yarmouth, known to locals as Yarmouth has been a seaside resort for more than 240 years now. In its earlier days, the focus was as a fishing port but more recently that has given way to offshore natural gas rigs. Even so for those staying in the town there is a wonderful beach and two promenades for them to enjoy. There are plenty of things to see and do locally in Great Yarmouth; below we look at some of them:

1. Elizabethan House Museum – The museum’s building was built in the sixteenth century and the museum itself allows you to learn more about the kinds of people who inhabited it since first being built. Be sure to visit the Tudor bedroom and dining room, which have been recreated to reflect those bygone days. There is also Victorian kitchen, complete with scullery, a parlor and the famous Conspiracy room. This room was where the people who plotted against King Charles I met to plan his trial and subsequent execution.

2. Horsey Windpump – This is a building which dominates the Norfolk skyline and is set back about a mile from the Norfolk coast. Now owned by the National Trust this red brick, 4 storey, buuilding has been restored to its former glory. If you are brave enough to climb the steps to the very top then you are met with amazing views out over Horsey Mere. If you’re feeling hungry on your visit, the windpump offers light snacks but if you’re looking for something a little more substantial in the village of Horsey about a mile away where you can sample top quality pub grub.

3. Wroxham Barns – This is ideal for a family day out. There is a Junior Farm for your children to enjoy. They can find out what farmyard life is like and it’s definitely a “hands on” experience. Along with this attraction at Wroxham Barns many have been modified and house skilled craftspeople making all sorts of items from jewelry and pottery through to Norfolk Cider.

4. Bure Valley Railway – This is a carefully restored railway with it’s own steam locomotive. The journey commences from Alysham and then winds its way through the countryside completing an 18 mile round trip. The train calls at places such as Brampton, Buxton and Coltishall you can disembark and explore these villages. Then it arrives in the town of Wroxham and you have a number of hours to explore this town before taking the train back to Alysham once more. You even have enough time at Wroxham to take a pleasure cruise on the broads.

5. RAF Neatishead Air Defence Radar Museum – This is really something for the boys and allows them to learn more about radar detection dating back to the 1930’s. The museum is inside the original air defence units constructed during World War Two and houses a number of exhibits for people to try. You can let your imagination run wild and see how Britain’s defences worked during World War Two and the more recent cold war.

Things To See and Do When You Visit Sheffield

The city of Sheffield is a very metropolitan place and for many years has been synonymous with the production of steel. It is in this city where the making of stainless and crucible steel first took place and today there are plenty of places to visit in the city showing the history of this city. But there are plenty of other attractions in Sheffield and the surrounding area that one can enjoy when visiting Sheffield. 

1.    Beauchief Abbey – This is one of Sheffield’s most beautiful attractions. Although the tower is the only part of the abbey remaining from 1175 the stone from it was then used to build the Church of St Thomas in the 17th Century. This was originally the only Premonstratensian Abbey in the whole of this part of Yorkshire. Today you can spend time just wandering around this peaceful medieval site and relaxing away from modern stresses and strains.

2.    Beauchief Golf Course – Surrounding the abbey mentioned above is one of three public golf courses. This pay and play course like the other two is easily accessed from the centre of the city and makes for a great days enjoyment. Certainly those who do play golf will find these courses not only a challenge but will have wonderful scenery to enjoy as well.

3.    Abbeydale Industrial Hamlet – Celebrating Sheffield’s steel history, this is an authentic scythe works, dating back to the eighteenth century. As you wander around you can view not only the house but the workshops, a crucible steel furnace, the dam {and|&} water wheels which were all important for steel production a couple hundred years ago. When you take the time to explore, you’ll start to feel how life was for those who lived in those times.

4.    Sheffield Botanical Gardens – These are peaceful and tranquil gardens for you to enjoy. English Heritage have classed this a Grade II site and within the boundaries are some listed buildings to view including the glass pavilions. The gardens are currently being extensively restored. This work is helping to show off the original Victorian design of the garden and restore some of the original varieties of plants that would have been found here when it was first created. But also they are working on ways to make it more accessible for all visitors to it.

5.     Cobweb Bridge – Although only a recently added attraction to the city of Sheffield it is part of the Five Weirs walk.  The walk follows the banks of the River Don which stretch for 8 kilometers (5 miles) and the more energetic can follow the path to Rotherham and even across the Trans Pennine Trail. As you walk along this stretch of the river keep your eyes out for some the unusual wildlife that live along the banks. When you reach the bridge don’t forget to look up.

6. Peak District – Just 5 miles (8 kilometers) from the centre of Sheffield is this National Park which lies at the southern end of the Pennine Hills. So whether you’re looking for an energetic walk, or to climb one of the rock faces, you’re well catered for. Not only is this a favorite place for walkers to visit but also climbers and cyclists as well.

1. Pick the right size of car.
If you only have a family of three, you don’t need to rent a full sized SUV. Larger cars are more expensive to rent. Rent the smallest sized car that you can get away with.

2. Choose the right type of car for your budget.
Although many people look at renting a car as an opportunity to get a luxury vehicle, the budget savvy traveler will choose more carefully. Just like when it comes to purchasing a car, renting a luxury car is more expensive than renting an economy car. And you’ll pay through the nose if you decide to rent a sports car! You'll save money if you stick with the basics.

3. Consider renting for an entire week.
By doing a cost comparison of rental rates, you may find that renting a car for an entire week is a better option that renting for just four to five days. Compare the daily rental rate to the weekly rate. Often times the weekly rate is a better deal. Double check the company’s policy for turning in the car early, just in case you need to do so.

4. Comparison shop.
