Get a Cheap Holiday This Year
Tuesday, July 7th, 2009    Subscribe To Our FeedAs the whole world is aware, we are in one of the biggest credit crunch's that we have seen for a vast amount of time and the worst hit sector has been travel and things do not look like they will be getting better anytime soon.
A huge majority of people are still planning to spend their holiday in the UK, which could lead to a big bout of cheap summer holidays. Folk are hugely cutting back amid fears that the pound has become hugely weak compared to other currencies.
But things dont look all bad, as people are actually booking up all inclusive deals in countries such as Turkey and Egypt. On the other hand non all inclusive destinations which include Spain and Portugal are suffering a lot, so this summer you could potentially get a great bargain.
Again things are not all bad, because huge amounts of money are being pumped back into the UK economy, with caravan and UK family holidays being booked up in the dozen. Some places just do not have enough space.
Although prices are quite low at the moment for overseas booking, government officials have stated "The consumer that books late is taking a risk because the sky prices could rocket".”
So if you are looking to go away this summer I would look at booking it within the next month, so that you can effectively keep your costs down, as the economy has the tendency to change in an instant.
Great bowls holidays and dancing holidays
